for me i think first impression matters at the same time does not matter.for example if we have to impress a person within a short time then first impression is important if not i think its your character which really matters cos whats the use of looking very pretty or handsome but your character sucks to the max.i think i would prefer someone who is not that gd looking but has a gd character.

like if u just met these 2 girls: 1 hot babe (but stupid) and 1 ugly babe (but smart)
which one will u want to talk to: definitely the babe right? BUT after a while, u will find that there is nothing intelligent coming out of her mouth so u will dump her

that is why it's called FIRST impression. u are attracted only at FIRST

i dunno y, but i think hollywood movies really influenced me on these stupid stereotyping stuff leh...
like blondes r dumb, every1 whose skin colour is yellow, are confirmed chinese, chinese always have phoenix shaped eyes, muslim anyhow kill ppl etc etc... n of cuz ALL not true la

Today, my RJ is about first impression. LOL. Well, agree with most of you guys that first impression is important la. Personally, I think that I always spoil my first impression la. I always look like a bit sulky when first time in any class la be it sec sch or currently. I didn't realise it till quite recently la. So this time in my new class I enter the class and greet everyone and SMILE no matter how bad my day is la. First impression do counts. You don't want to have a bad start correct? But be yourself la. Don't exaggerate the first impression... at the same time don't ruin it. Be yourself, but also project a positive image too

Thats why the media plays a big role in influencing the people around. and those who got brain washed are people that got very little knowledge about something or most of the time they are isolated from the urban world. first impression can be created, be it be the truth or fake. some ppl might act very gentle or wadever during first meeting wif a new guy.. well, i juz think that u can like act gentle abit or wad on the first meeting but dun nid to go to the extend that its totally different from ur original self.

just be yourself la...you act gentle abit then also will have people dun like de. What ever you do, confirm will have people dislike. So whatever it is. Be yourself. there is no perfect behaviour that is liked by everyone.

ya thats right sometimes you cant change yourself for example if u are a quiet person by nature it will be difficult for to be outspoken and at the same time if you try to be talkative and noisy at a point of time you will feel that you are putting on an act i do feel like that at times when i try to change myself or adapt to a new environment.
